Violet is a herbaceous plant that grows in temperate regions. From the violet, we do not distill the flowers but the leaves, with which we obtain a product with a powerful green scent. The 'violet flower' note claimed in many perfumes is obtained thanks to synthetic molecules such as ionones. The violet flower note is very typical in perfumery, but also in confectionery. As a single flower, violet is generally feminine, with a powdery and slightly fruity effect, which gives it a retro image. Violet is also used in many fragrances as a binder, or to bring a certain floral sweetness.
It is one of the ingredients present in our Cancer fragrance!
