Marion Cotillard is a French actress born September 30, 1975 in Paris. Active in the cinema since the end of the 1990s, she is revealed to the general public by her role as the hero's companion in the Taxi saga, which she embodies in the first three films of the franchise. In February 2005, she received the first of the major awards that would punctuate her career: the César for best actress in a supporting role, for only eight minutes of screen time in the film Un long dimanche de fiançailles by Jean-Pierre Young.
